Waste & Recycling collection problems - 11th June 2007

The Organic Waste & Card Collection in part of Oldfield Park has been unfortunately disrupted today.

This is due to staff shortages, the local composting facility being closed and the volume of waste presented this collection route was unable to complete today. An additional vehicle will be on the road tomorrow to complete the following roads.

The roads affect were:

Beckhampton Road, Canterbury Road, Durley Park, Faulkland Road, Junction Road, Junction Avenue, King Edward Road, Livingston Terrace, Melcombe Court, Melcombe Road, Oldfield Lane, Oldfield Road, St Kildas Road, Walnut Drive and Winchester Road.
